JAIME H MARTINEZ – USA
Master in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas and Certified Accountant from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia.
He has more than 25 years of experience in various industries. He worked as the External Auditor at Arthur Andersen in Colombia. In oil and gas, Martinez worked for Triton Energy, Finance Vice-president at Harken de Colombia and CFO at Meta Petroleum in Colombia. In the US, Martinez worked for Harken Energy and Global Energy Development in Houston. In the pharmaceutical industry he worked for POI, a contract research organization in Houston. Manufacturing as the CEO for Sabajon Apolo, a liqueur manufacturer / distributor in Colombia. Martinez is the President / Owner of Martvel Corporation.
SANTIAGO SILVA – COLOMBIA
Santiago Silva is a specialist in banking and finance who obtained his undergraduate economics degree at the Externado University, Bogota. He also graduated from the Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale in Italy. Throughout the years, Silva has been trained in talent management, re-engineering, strategy, and process optimization in the United States and Colombia.
Silva worked with Korn Ferry International as Chief Officer for a 3-year period in Ecuador. He has also worked for consulting firms such as Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen in Colombia. His professional background also includes serving as the Vice-President at the “Grupo Financiero Popular” for three years.
FRANCISCO SILVA – COLOMBIA
Silva holds a bachelor degree in Finance and International Relations from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He studied insurance at The Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK and Social Security at the Rosario University in Colombia.
Silva has over 15 years of experience in marketing, sales, banking, telecommunications, finance and social security consulting in private and public companies in Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Ecuador.
He has been social security adviser for the ISS, for the Banking Superintendence of Colombia and Ecuador, and for the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. He has also been Trust Division Manager at the Financial Group of Guatemala. Previously, Silva was Manager of Administration and Finance and Commercial Director at Atento Centroamerica, (part of the Spanish Group Telefónica), as well as Advisor on postal issues for the Ministry of Communications of Colombia.
PATRICIO CRESPO – ECUADOR
Crespo earned a degree in Industrial Psychology from the Catholic University of Ecuador. He received an MBA at the Francisco Vitoria University in Madrid, Spain.
He has worked as Human Resources Manager for 5 years at Heavy Crude Pipeline OCP Ecuador SA., General Manager for OED Consultant (Organizational Development) for 4 years, representative for PSICOMARKETING in Ecuador, Head of the Education Project Manager for Entrepreneurs at the Technical University of Loja – UTPL for 5 years, Vice President of Human Resources for the Grupo Financiero Banco de Préstamos, Regional Human Resources Manager at Conticorp Group – Banco Continental, and Chief of Staff at the International Bank (BANINTER) and Diners Club of Ecuador.
Crespo has been an instructor of workshops and seminars INDEG in Human Development and Human Resources of the UTPL.
